”Youth Information Point”
This is a project prepared and carried out by ANAWOJ Association, in co-operation with
Youth Initiative from Michałowo.
What is its aim?
”Youth Information Point” project aims to:
- stimulate and increase the initiative of young people from rural areas facing big unemployment,
- to activate young people living in those areas to seek various forms of self-realisation and development,
- to make the information of trainings, workshops, workcamps, etc. available
- to organise meetings with the representatives of different organisations and institutions having the offer for young people looking for jobs
What do we offer?
For high school students we organise the series of meetings with people capable of giving information
concerning the possibility to go to university, to join the programmes for young people, to employ
various strategies while looking for a job, ....
This offer is addressed particularly to this year high school graduates and university graduates.
Among the guests we invite there are:
- representatives of an organisation sending young people abroad within "Youth Project" (European Voluntary Service),
- university students, talking about different faculties,
- representatives of the banks offering students' loans,
- representatives of Labour Office, presenting the strategy of looking for a job actively,
- representatives of the companies offering placements, courses or trainings,
- representatives of Work & Travel, AuPair, etc,
- self-employed people or people running a company, informing how to start business activity and go through all legal procedures.
How does ANAWOJ Association benefit from this project?
We are asked this question most often. The answer is in one word: SATISFACTION. We can say that
”Youth Information Point” is our ”little” success, since thanks to the information
gained while this project was carried out, the group of young people became involved in voluntary service,
decided to continue education (studies)or to go abroad, was offered a placement or traineeship.
That is why we are convinced it was worth doing (and worth continuing, too).
